About

Delaware Bay Therapy Services, LLC

*** Now Accepting New Clients In Delaware, New Jersery, Or Maryland*** *Night and Weekend Availability for flexibility around your work schedule* Have you experienced an traumatic event? Maybe you are experiencing flashbacks, you are easily startled and you are having nightmares. Maybe you are feeling anxious or depressed. You are having a hard time sleeping. You have little to no appetite. Maybe you want to eat everything in site. You want to run away and be isolated but at the same time, you are scared to be alone. Trauma is the word used to describe an emotional response to a severe and terrible event such as a natural disaster, a car accident, a rape, or many other haunting events. Trauma does not discriminate against age, sex, gender, socioeconomic status or any other trait. Trauma has many long term and short term effects. Not everyone who experiences trauma will develop PTSD. Even if you do not meet the criteria for a PTSD diagnosis, it doesn’t mean that the trauma did not impact you. Similar to grief, everyone experiences trauma differently. For some, places and smells can trigger a panic attack. For others, nightmares and flashbacks can be constant. Regardless, trauma can be overwhelming and lonely. It doesn’t have to be. There are a variety of therapy interventions that can be used to assist you in managing the fear, increasing confidence, gain a better understanding of yourself, and rebuild your life. If you could relate to any of the symptoms mentioned, feel free to reach out using the contact button above OR call or text 833-785-2315. Convenient night and weekend appointments available with working professionals and parents in mind….so you don’t have to miss work or family activities. I use a client-centered and strengths-based approach to help guide you through the therapeutic process. Together, we will develop treatment goals and begin to work toward those goals. All of my sessions are completed via a secure telehealth platform allowing you to participate from the comfort of your own space.
